Hi Scott ,
I agree with you - patience is required here. I am a long term holder and investor in the market. I invested in 3DA after doing my research as I see it as a business which has a unique technology with genuine commercial application potential and an excellent management and team that Hank Holland has put together that is capable of achieving success.
An important factor in my decision to invest in addition to the fundamentals was that management invested its own money in the company which for me is a huge vote of confidence in the business.
I have over the years invested in start ups some of which have gone well and others not so well as we would all have experienced on the investment journey.
The very nature of the investment in these types of businesses early is that the risks are high ( and so you pay less) but the potential returns if successful are also high.. Investors must expect some hurdles ,delay and macro impacts when investing in the market that is par for the course.
As far as I am aware the company is meeting its milestones and hitting its targets along the way and had to weather a significant worldwide macro storm and volatility after the US election which has affected all stocks and hence the SP has pulled back significantly.
Whilst none of us would be pleased with the SP drop the stock has held up well overall given the volatility in the markets and has stabilised it would appear. Given that the second atomiser is coming at the end of the fiscal year and that there are potential agreements to come down the track I am comfortable that we will see the SP re-rate as the milestones are met and we secure agreements and build on production throughout 2025 /2026.
As we know there are no guarantees with anything in life but I am confident that management are on track to deliver and succeed in my view.
If investors are impatient or risk averse and cannot deal with the volatility which is a fair enough position to adopt then each investor has to make their own decision as to whether to exit. For me I see these SP levels as a top up opportunity. I may be wrong but there is no gain without risk. DYOR and good luck to all.
