It's always catch-22 with these types of project. Unless you have multiple major parties actively battling over a project you are almost always negotiating from a fairly weak position. XAM needs the money to make the project happen right now so the initial 4c issue was a good outcome. You're right though, Zijin do look to be getting the better side of the deal as things currently stand for the longer term... but it's not done yet!
