Management's perception of the buyback is that it's going well. DP commented that they don't want to be paying a higher amount than what's required to maximise shareholder value. I know this differs to a a lot of shareholders views that the buyback has not been aggressive enough.
They are also exploring all 3 options in parallel for the long awaiting monetisation event. This could be a combination of a number of different options (sale, JV, drill).
In my view, the presentation was poor. No slides, nothing new discussed nor did DP bother to have his camera on for his 'talk'. Just lots of fluff.
We just continue to tread water in the meantime and hope the much hyped monetization event comes off!
