A 40% takeover premium at todays level would equate to a 12c a share takeover price, and most likely overwhelmingly supported by directors dependant on how much cash could be raped off shareholders in the form of performance bonuses.
Its a play straight form the dodgy spec stock director playbook, and I've copped it quite a few times.
Directors waste all the cash then recommend a crap takeover offer while paying themselves retirement money.

Please don't wish that on us.
