Assuming ballpark 50% debt financing, company issues 850m new shares via private placement at (or slightly above) sp. current holders diluted by 2/3s but now owners of a fully funded and de-risked mine. Difficult to know how it'd wash out in the end particularly as at least some of that dilution is already preloaded into the price (as well as risk of financing not proceeding). My feeling is outcomes for current holders wouldnt be as bad as one might fear, particularly if there's a rights issue to soften the blow
