Yes Battleship, the report raises some questions. As you point out, it is unusual for a junior explorer to not have a managing director. SCI may be employing a consultant geologist as the technical manager instead (note: it is a requirement of the Dept Planning/Mining in NSW for an explorer to have a technical manger with recognised geological qualifications). Maybe this set up may save the company the large salary/fee that would normally be drawn by a managing director. Also, who wrote the activities report? (A team effort by the 3 directors or a consultant geologist?) The financial report is signed off by the new secretary, Sonu Cheema (page 4 of financial statement). I will be happy if they restart the exploration of Copper Blow this quarter - they have the funds and a good JV. On page 4 of the Financials they estimate $120,000 to be spent on exploration and evaluation in this quarter. It may depend on the drought which had caused drilling at Broken Hill to be postponed for some explorers. Is that still the case? I'll keep my sentiment at BUY for now.
