Notice Govt. looking into Aust. capacity to provide energy for EV's - it's amazing they hadn't already done some serious work on this!
My guess is they find our energy capacity seriously lacking & gas will be the quickest method for electricity generation to fill the gap!
I'd love to know the other side of this argument & gas fired power stations will not be required?
