Anyhow I came by to share a snippet from The West last Sunday (05/09/21) reporting on a large block trade of PLS shares by MinRes (5.4% of PLS).
- The trade netted $328m for MIN which seems to have confident expectations the South West Creek berth will go ahead;

“….Today’s sale represents a tidy windfall profit for MinRes and provides it with half the cash it expects to spend this year funding its growing iron ore ambitions.​

Mr Ellison, pictured, has plans to quadruple his company’s iron ore production over the next five years to 90Mtpa with a focus on developing two new iron ore hubs in the Pilbara.​

Ore from the company’s Marillana and Ophthalmia deposits is expected to be shipped through proposed new berthing facilities at South West Creek while MinRes also has plans to export product from its Kumina and Bungaroo South deposits through a new trans-shipping facility proposed at the port of Ashburton.”​
