No worries Sabine. I think holders need to be reminded that there is still good potential in this stock. I had read about Min Resources selling its PLS holding for circa $300 million. I thought that would be the tidy sum needed to progress Marillana including the loan to BCK. Your post sort of confirms that the funding is intended to expand MinResources Pilbara iron ore hub.
Down the track Chinese ore buying levels is the unknown factor. China is reportedly trying to minimise its ore purchases from Australia, which obviously isn't good for us. However, I wonder if forced to buy some ore from Australia whether preference will be to companies that have high levels of Chinese ownership? If so, we're in the box seat, albeit it Hong Kong Chinese majority ownership. On this basis, if BHP, Rio, FMG etc start losing sales to China, do they really need the additional berth capacity that they're also seeking?
