Below is the chart of another fertiliser stock which also suffered from months of selling after a significant cr with free attaching options. There was no other reason for the sp to fall as the company was moving closer to production and fertiliser prices (phosphate in this case) were rising. It is a good example of what sort of gains can follow from the lows resulting from cr profit taking, when the fundamentals have been improving all along. The reversals should be very rewarding as was the case below.
While both are fertiliser developers and both suffered big falls following significant cr's, there are some big differences. The company in the chart below has much lower funding requirements but it is also has a much smaller project. LCK has much higher capital requirements but it also has a much higher NPV which should ultimately attract much larger institutional buyers and LCK has less country risk being in Australia. When the larger institutional buyers begin buying, the sp could trend higher for years. I'm hoping to see one or more come in as cornerstone investors in the next cr. Hopefully the company does a different style cr next time with cornerstone investors only and no sophisticated investors.
