I cannot help but flip the coin back at you in regards to Bias.
The fact that the only two examples of other transactions you include in your comparisions, are based on companies that are actually in production, versus a pure explorer, shows that you are perhaps not interested in comparing apples for apples.
Both GCY and BCN can pay far more for ounces, because.... they will actually produce some of it. GBZ is another dreamer until they have a plant that produces some gold bars (it may happen, it may not). Also, the assets they bought can and most likely will be brought into production within the next 1-2 years.
GBZ will not have a plant built with the next 3 years (happy to have others keep this post and will happily take it on the chin if I am proved wrong).
Even with mining leases on some of the deposits, building a mine, take... time, lots of it.
btw- I actually have no issue with the price paid. I don't believe I have said so either. My main connerns are in the earlier post.
I continue to watch and see if my views are proven wrong. If so, then I will hopefully learn something.
