Kal East Gold Project (100%):
• Early-stage exploration activities and rehabilitation of drilling areas continued throughout the quarter.
• Discussions continued with a number of parties regarding commercialisation (including toll treatment) of the Myhree open pit.
The wording 'including toll treatment' suggests that BC8 is looking beyond just a toll treat deal. Several parties opens up the field of possibilities.
Gold price bounced nicely. Shows us the demand and trend remains intact. Like to see $2000 in Feb.
BC8 now has $23m cash. Plenty of money to drill Paulsens, get this through to the decision to mine, add resources, make a $5m payment to NST and make new discoveries. Paulsens should therefore be moving towards refurb work this year with any luck. The balance sheet might get a nice lift if they conclude something at Myhree in the mean time. They just keep pushing on until they start it up.
