Yes, technically correct, no one has ever been prosecuted in giving/receiving market sensitive information who didn't subsequently trade the shares. They probably only prosecute 0.00000001% of people that do trade with inside information.
I think it highly likely Lindsay would give NI more information than he would to you or I in a phone call. All he would need to say is I've just had a very successful meeting with XXX with a big smile & a thumbs up. NI are paid to promote MNB, they'll be in the loop.
In any case you'd like to think they'll finalise offtake & IDC loan while the crew are in S Africa, the conference ended on Friday. Much easier to get back to Perth from JoBurg than Angola.
