TG6 made the mistake of not knowing enough about lithium assay methods and through this accepting a lab telling them an unreliable method would work. They were using an acid based method not sodium peroxide digest for all the early reported results. Since then, TG6 have made a small mistake of not reworking all the artificially low grades that came from using acid not sodium digest lab tests into reported tables/graphs.

Basically TG6 had some exceptional grades that were being reported as average to good grades through lab's using the wrong techniques. All the early intercepts were higher grade than originally reported.

Take for example TGRC0011. The originally reported value was a very respectable 9m @ 1.62% from 87m with 1m @ 2.28%. This didn't provide any hint that it was being under-reported. When the revised assay's are used that becomes 10m @ 1.80% from 86m with 1m @ 2.88% (or 3m @ 2.29%). This is a simply exceptional grade for a top 100m height intercept.

TGRC0014. Originally reported as 6m @ 1.19% from 44m. On the sodium test its 7m @ 1.45%. While still thin, it moves from medium to high grade.

They weren't the only WA company hit by lab's using (recommending?) the wrong test. This graph was done by the Minnow WIN on their Widgie deposit. They retested 3,371 samples done with 4-acid and redone using sodium peroxide fusion. As the plot test shows, every one of the fusion tests was above the equivalent line so 4-acid was understating the results. In reporting 4-acid early results TG6 was unintentionally understating the true grade of the intercepts. As some intercepts fell below 0.5%, they were also understating the width that existed with a 0.5% cut-off.

So going back through some other lithium companies recently releasing results. They all use Sodium Peroxide Fusion so this change isn't some gimmick to improve the results, its returning to industry standard having reported using a method resulting in a downward bias for grades at the start:
