    At the mercy of the macro I'm afraid for the time being. From what I gather, at these prices lepidolite is non-profitable and African sources from Zimbabwe are most likely not making money either. See Joe Lowry's most recent note on LinkedIn. It quotes a knowledgeable guy, Dwayne Sparks on twitter that crunched some numbers of the Zimbabwean supply that is an interesting read.

    The western media concentrate on the lack of demand for western EVs but the demand in China is still red hot. They also prefer a premium product of SC6 if they can as it is easier and more cost effective to process than the African SC4 or 5. It goes to show that TG6 pegs with thick crystals and consistent mineralogy could be highly desired as it will be easier to process.

    From what I gather the foretold oversupply by the investment banks until 2030 won't eventuate because at these prices there is no incentive to bringing new supply online which will ironically could potentially cause a price spike.
