I sure hope you're not saying China's govt. is the best in the business because they have driven their economy into such a hole that there's debate as to whether it can get out in decades (like for Japan).
There's all this overcapacity most notably in trains that not only have the saturated China with billions of debt . Now for they've busy doing it to the press of the financially weak less developed world. Notably Kenya, Indoensia and Malaysia but that's just trains.
I'm a bit of a China Hawk and I don't think the general public theirs or ours has any idea of how terrible their policies are/have been let alone how they can change them. I think they're busily in the process of shooting their foot off on REE's as well which is why ARU, NDT, ILU and others will benefit.
The basics of economics as set out by Friedman and refined by others being price setting supply and demand works. Communists first The Soviet Union and Now China with command style designations is fraught. Yes, Albo is quick to jump in for political ends to fund ARU but supply demand setting prices in energy too is a defining factor for our economy.
