    1.Zambian based litigation was discontinued by mutual consent

    2.Potential Joint Venture farm-out is being considered
    provided terms deliver a strong value add to shareholders.

    Oh well! Barrick Gold Corp aren’t stupid!

    Read point 1 as really saying "Barrick Gold (new owners of Equinox) are playing Mr. Nice Guy and do not want to waste time/money/effort on the inevitable (which is point 2 below)"

    Read point 2 as really saying "We, ARE, have no choice. We are fast running out of money. We know Barrick want us and will ultimately screw us. Just a bit of foreplay at the moment, but they will get into bed with us in some joint venture or totally take us over"

    Just my prediction!
