One option they might have other than US funding is to turn to a large shareholder for help. interesting to note that Mercuria (who have provided financing historically) are increasing their equity stake. I think it's fair to assume they probably have a very close eye on JRV's funding needs and would not be increasing their equity stake if they felt the company was both likely to be financially compromised and had nowhere to turn to ex Govt funding...
