Does anyone have a view on the drivers behind the alternative location for P1? @Sharpey you know I am clueless, but we both are confused whether the wording of this announcement suggests a positive or negative outcome. On the one hand, these meaningful cost savings may be driven by an alternative site which provides savings over management's assumed 'base case' costs. On the other hand, it may suggest that management's 'base case' assumptions for Sudbury were too optimistic and this alternative site returns us to the status quo. I'd expect the former as LPD doesn't seem to have a history of rash or overly optimistic announcements, but I'd love a bit more clarification on this from the management team. Everything else though, oooooh boy I am excited.
