Hi aurifice, I don't have any detailed knowledge about recent grades at A1, but I believe that CTL might have survived if it were not for some problems which stymied them. One of those problems was a delay in finance being provided, resulting in cessation of operations until the money was received, and which resulted in workers quitting and leased equipment being removed, so it was impossible to resume normal operations when the cash came through.

Haulage of the ore to Maldon was a significant cost for CTL which AUL will not be burdened with if they take over A1.

You apparently have nothing to lose however this goes, whereas I do have some skin in the game here, but I'm quite prepared to wait and see how things pan out over the next few months. If I didn't think that there was a reasonably good chance of things going well, I would have pulled the pin.
