Dilution - Can someone in the know explain to me what this is?
We have strip ratio - the ratio between waste mined and ore mined. My understanding of waste is the dirt moved out of the way to either get to the grade ore, or open up the mine.
We have recovery (last 96.9%). I assume this is the amount of gold lost in the processing plant when extracting the gold from the ore.
Dilution - If it is nothing to do with strip ratio and nothing to do with recovery, then what is it?
