Crack downs due to covid and helping save face in light of corruption allegations is helpful, but only if gamblers can access poipet. Whats the situation on the border?
I'm not sure it says much about any billion dollar developements in the future. MGM, Melco, Resorts World, all the big players would put forward big $$$ tempting plans in the future if legalisation was debated. However I seem to remember the military dictatorship is conservative and less likely to legalise gambling.
