As a newcomer to AML, I'm wondering what info has been provided by AML management re a conceptual future plan to mine, process and ship the ore?
Looks like there is a small port facility in Karumba about 500km away (by what appear from Google maps) to be reasonably good roads. I'm guessing the plan may be to process a concentrated ore near the mine site and ship the concentrate in containers by road to karumba and then buy ship to Asia (China?) for refining? I note Google Maps is currently indicating that the shortest route via Highway Route #1 is not an option. Presumably this road is unpassable in the wet season? Currently seems to be a circa 650km one-way trip using the more roundabout wet-season route but presumably would be less than 400km along #1 in the dry?
Appreciate the thoughts of any longer-term holders here who may have knowledge (or thoughts) re the above ...
