Higher interest rates are going to tend to send the USD up , relative to the AUD. ( ie rising US Bond yields no 1)
Interest rate rises are not only going to happen here.
A significant spike in bond yields has occurred in the US, and also Germany particularly, Italy and Spain as others examples
The UK have already raised interest rates as their economy is so strong .
For perspective- German interest rates are still incredibly low .
