LOL, I grasp the concept pretty well, especially its tendency to serve as a means of evasion. Look up the term "precedent," my friend. I know, it has quite a few syllables, so maybe you can just copy/paste it instead of sounding it out. Reflect on how the consistent reporting of grades has established a precedent and consider the implications of breaking that established precedent.
As I pointed out in my previous post, the last time that happened it was because something bad happened.
