I've also pointed out that I don't actually care, precisely because it is still battery grade. It was simply an observation, and now I've been sucked into a vortex of having to repeatedly defend a perfectly valid observation, because some people get butt-hurt by the suggestion that this company is anything other than perfect, no matter how mild the criticism or observations are.
As far as whether it's unnecessary or not, that's debatable. The problem with your argument is that it cuts both ways. I've consistently observed the precise lithium carbonate content emphasised in company releases, and triumphantly announced on these threads. While the grade was consistent or tracking up, no-one stepped forward to say that the specific lithium carbonate content was irrelevant. Now that there's a suggestion that it might be tracking down, all of a sudden the specific content is irrelevant? Awfully hypocritical, don't you think?
If my "internal powers of deduction" are to be dismissed, what's the alternative explanation for the omission? It's a question I've noticed has been skillfully sidestepped by some, presumably because a negative explanation is the only plausible one. There simply isn't a positive reason for why it would be omitted, especially considering AGY's history of emphasising the grade for years. I think you already know this, and that is exactly why you are now downplaying the specific grade/content, when it has been a point of celebration for so long.
