People should be looking at the risk-reward from the current position and sp, and act accordingly; hence my earlier comment about the shocking lack of discussion here about how the battered sp has significantly altered the risk-reward assessment.
I mean, one only has to examine the most basic of scenarios to highlight this….
Say an investor (a pessimistic one imo) “only” expects to see a 60c sp again in 5 years from now…. At current prices, that is a 100% return on initial investment per year.
For anyone thinkinng that’s too “optimistic”….
Even a return to a sp of only 40 cents in 5 years from now would be an annual compounding return of over 30%.
I’d better not give an optimistic example as some of the haters will claim it’s “mindless ramping”. LMAO.
