The prices MRC receives are lower due to being a concentrate (blend garnet and ilmenite), once the MSP plant is completed they should see these higher prices as you have highlighted.
The following is from one of the announcements from last year. Which is a good indication on the prices MRC recieves
Considering we shipped 4067 tonnes of non mags and 4,000 tonnes of Garnet, MRC received US$4.7mil. the pricing seems to be in line with the table above.
I still cannot get over how poorly written the QTR report was. anyone who quickly reads the report would assume the company is going insolvent, yet they missed mentioning that the 50kt of Ilmenite (that should have been sold yesterday) is valued at US$7.5mil.
There also wasn't a clear explanation as to why the garnet sales were significantly lower than every other QTR.
