I think they know in the sense they are "conciously" making the decisions.
Whether or not they have a plan or are "winging it" is a different question I guess. I am leaning towards its been a bit of winging it lately. Luck definitely has a factor in these thing, but, I do wish it was clearer.

Hence, I'm still on hold.

Last couple of months has had quite a fair bit of "what is the board thinking" for many companies. Quite a few changes at the top as well.
