That should do it... will let jerko know to tap a couple extra holes and buy another pump or two and save on future pond development. Its all about the mg/l... you know, the flow rate!
I can only assume his mindset is on EID or membrane Li extraction systems. In which case once your system is designed your flow rate will never change, and for each stage you will then primarily care about concentrations and recovery %.
