Looks like there a few of us who have started a family later in life. We lost twins (miscarriage) early in our marriage. It took over 10 years after that to have a little girl. She is now 11, and yes I sometimes wish we could have had kids earlier and a brother or sister for her.
But, I have stayed very fit, and financially am able to give my daughter experiences that we would not have been able to, as a young struggling family trying to pay down a mortgage and forging careers.
I've actually come to realise for me personally having a family later has been a god send.
