I dont believe the offtake agreements are dependent on the 10000 plant. JZ could have at any time entered into an MOU
Yes its something I have touched on several times. Nothing beats a binding agreement and we are perfectly placed to avoid a MOU and go straight to the real thing , not unlike avoiding a DFS for the 2000tpa plant and just getting on and building it based on the results of the pilot plant...
I imagine any prospective financiers would want to see a revised PEA ,as construction costs have risen as has the price of Lithium, it should make pretty reading overall, also they would want to see the plant in operation so I wouldn't expect a lot to happen untill around Sept.
Offtakes are a separate issue and they could sign one anytime and completely separate from finance , one leading to the other as often happens, but in this case they are likely done in conjunction so would come out as a complete package...
