Sometimes no news is good news, sometimes it's bad news, sometimes it's ambiguous but assumptions will be made, with or without basis, correct or not.
When you're expecting good news, no news is definitely going to cause panic.
To set the market up with the expectation of good news then provide no news, you're either phenomenally stupid or deliberately harming the price, or you're too cowardly to deliver the bad news or you're holding off while dumping your shares.
Either way, no news is going to be interpreted as bad news in this situation. That's what you're missing. Having said that, while JZ's communication seems disturbingly like a deliberate effort to elevate the share price (promises of imminent company-making developments) before causing a crash (providing no news when you engineered an expectation of good news), the actual developments do look good and the next move after this low should be a big rally.
