The strategy to partner with one entity for both expansion funding and offtake is clearly advancing. This is great.
AFAICT, initial product from the 2ktpa plant will go to this customer/partner for qualification.
They will need quite a few tonnes and months to complete the multiple stages of product qualification. This should be expected.
While that occurs, we will likely be stocking the shelves with white gold, to whatever spec said customer requires, so we can ship “first” product to them upon completion of their qualification process. We might also sell on the spot market, if we need to, but that will depend on the terms of the partnership. The deal may not include the bulk of our product until the expansion is complete.
We will find out in due course.
The news remains positive and we are closer to an outcome with every month that passes.
We are shaping a complex strategic partnership, not just trying to sign up anyone who wants to buy carbonate (which it appears we could have easily done some time ago).
