It is one of the functions.......but there are many......Generally when you say "photoshopping".......(its the industry I work in by the way)....its MOSTLY when you edit a whole range of features of an image with all the other editing functions like, changing the colour, paint over, shift, darken, blur etc (this requires skill)..... the word CROPPING is just that....you cut a piece of the image out or cut away pieces. Most editing programs can CROP.....but not every program has photoshop capabilities.....thats why PHOTOSHOPPING is very specific......I can CROP an image in Word if i want to. Even EXCEL allows me to crop an image. (in fact anyone that uses a computer should be able to do this)....but neither of those programs are Photoshop. IMO your just using the term "photoshop" to suggest something devious on the part of the editor.........back atchya...
