Hey @lockitt I immediately thought of you mate when I watched this vid. This could be the kind of car for future cities, and they cost ~$5,000+ each in China.
Last time we talked up at Noosa conference we were both driving oldish Mercs (I seem to recall ?) you could get three of these parked in each spot outside Peppers.
Now you and BC should stop this bickering - I reckon that if you both sat down together you would have much more in common than not.
Anyway why don't you pop over to PGD and read a few of his posts, very informative - that's an MC backed Company and they found a vein with 3% gold in it, very interesting following how they explore for that. BC's iron prospect is adjacent.
Finally I need to get this off my chest - we need to accommodate China in our thinking about the world and the future. WAR is not an option. They are incredibly clever and industrious people, and the Chinese people will almost certainly influence their govt to soften any hardline attitudes in due course.
Let them manufacture things. Australia is good at discovering and supplying raw materials. But also good at education to very high levels and standards. And inventiveness in medicine and defense for example.
Good defense is to prevent war. And we would all be surprised at the capability of 100 F35s each with 4 Ghostbat loyal wingman drones (being manufactured in Toowoomba, components from other Australian cities and O/S) and controlled from space by Australia's battlefield management system (Controls air, land, sea and space assets over the continent and a good deal of the adjacent oceans)
I only know a small bit, from wide reading, but that is the kind of thing we Aussies should devote our skills and expertise too - not building cars like the wonderful Ford Falcon GT HO. (sadly, of course - but compared to the Dinky Car, its a dinosaur)
