Wrong
If these diamonds had traveled more than a few miles they would have rounded off edges as they roll though the water along the ground.
So even if a diamond hit a big rock and broke into two it would still have a few rounded sides from travelling a long distance,so there is no way these diamonds could have traveled very far.
