"Unrefined gold in they system was up by 52,217oz."
That seems a lot of gold if it was just in circuit ie in the CIL tanks or on site, as a lay person I would think the majority of it would have to be stored at the Pirth mint for security and if it is there why not refine it?????
Unless it is something like what RND does and hold produced gold rather than selling it to prevent incurring tax on the sale.
