CLQ is a water treatment, metal extraction company that relies upon ionic process.
On the water purification front they have been in a high level partnership in China with a subsidiary of the Three Gorges Dam Corp. This seems to have been a bit of a let down initially in that the initial project targetted fell through and CLQ have said they are marketing outside this agreement. From the recent quarterly it would seem this is now moving forward and you can read Bombers post above.
On the metal recovery front there were two projects identified to demonstrate their tech.
One was CRB's project to clean up the Mt Morgan tailing dam. ( If successful then there are numerous tailing dams world wide that could be a potential market. Big environmental hazard and I think RF has a huge one in Africa( cant remember where) that has a fortune in copper and other minerals contained in it.
The other is Syerston where they have demonstrated an ability to extract pure scandium at an economic price. Now they are trying to establish Sc offtakes to go ahead with the project. Have said that they are also looking at the Cobalt and Nickel to increase the economics of the project. Read above for discussions of the Co. Have a look at the feasability study for the project looking just at the Sc. If they can get the offtakes then it is a cash cow. Will need I think 50m to proceed with project. A lot of interest in Sc but no market existed due to rarity/cost. Lots of stuff about the potential market already posted.
Also on the mining front they are in partnership with a Sth African mining equipment company which has incorporated the ionic process into a unit for use in mining/mineral extraction. dont know anything about sales on that front.

So all considered is the best Co play as there will be no issue with the prices of Cu, Ni but will be processed as a byproduct of the Sc where they have a cost advantage over any other producer , But need the offtakes which i believe will come.
And the Chinese water could be a company maker on its own and there are the future uses of the tech in mining and tailing dams world wide. Sorry not up to your detailed analysis but I am pretty broadbrush in my approach to these small caps.
