The comment "lower gold production was a factor, despite having increased throughput of our plant" from Dan Clifford has left me with my mouth open. This indicates to me that gold is being left behind, and there are potentially issues with the plant itself that are not being addressed. Dan seems far more interested in the health and safety record of the mine than actually finding and getting gold. Lots of excuses (water on site, COVID, labour shortages, slow processing by external agents), very little in results.
They do not expect substantial change in external interactional performance with the company or internal grade performance.
I am a long term holder and not impressed with what I am hearing today. No wonder my holding is down 47%, I wonder if leadership actually realise we are miners not a feel good club.
