Hi Spid, just a couple of thoughts. Irrespective of Tormin being next to a wind farm doesn't mean it produces power 24/7 and grid connection does not guarantee you power as well, even if Eskom agree to it, see my Tronox comment. Finished product requires fresh water that isn't available and would require a desal unit, so environment impact study and big bucks. In my mineral sands experience and imo the inland strand needs to take priority so the tails can be discharged as per DMR. Thickeners, tails dams etc. Not sure if the mine footprint is large enough for above ground dams if they cannot pump straight into the mining void. Then you would shut the north down for good and mine inland ant Tormin alternatively.
