So you agree that DEG is an exploratory company but you feel that a cashed up DEG wirh $99M should not spend some money exploring a potentially very huge lithium asset. Weird. I hope you are not running an exploratory company. The problem with DEG, as I see it, is that the geos seem to have become focussed on gold assets and have not capitalised on the fact that thata decent sniff of lithium is now worth more than its weight in gold.
Regarding assay results, these can be fast tracked for a fee so waiting for assay results can be considerably shortened.
Regarding spinning off lithium assets into a new company, my feeling is that some exploration work is essential before spinoff so that existing shareholders who get shares will not have to dig into their pockets to fund exploration. And if lithium potential is made clear pre spin off by some preliminary exploration by DEG, any share placement to non DEG shareholders can be done at a much higher price.
But meanwhile, I hope that the Board will do the right thing for shareholders regarding the lithium. I feel that exploratory companies should better use funds they have in exploring promising targets rather than letting time slip by rapidly. Nobody is getting young
