"assuming there is a pre-mobilisation payments/ deposit, maybe someone who knows more can comment?"... not that I ever heard of. There is a mobilisation fee for sure, but invoices are delivered as the travel/work is done and paid in arrears, +30 days from date of invoice usually (+/- the games of dragging them out into the next month to make cash look better). Drilling invoices sit in Acc Payable until actually paid...
