The point was that AGY has NOT simply taken the traditional path of project development, as they recognised the importance in actually developing and demonstrating the chemical processing technology; others, who have produced relatively very small amounts of product (even via multiple third parties as per the example provided) and focussed on “paper studies” to “illustrate” how they are going to successfully develop and operate their projects, are often stuck requiring massive amounts of capital (as per the example provided) for a project that has far less derisking completed.
