Canadian federal election is happening right now - the outcome should be known by mid-morning Dubbo time. The conservatives promised to spend heaps on mining in Ontario province but not so much in Quebec. From what I could find the progressives were not promising much specific to Quebec lithium. So maybe the outcome is neither here nor there for Sayona.
The Quebec government investment vehicle, Investissment Quebec, owns 40% of Moblan and I suspect would not want to see NAL close down operations or for Sayona to go bust. Maybe what the feds will not do the provincials might. I don't expect they will but it will be interesting to watch how the various Canadian governments respond to the threat posed by Trump.
