How could they possibly be in dispute over harvesting costs to the order of $575k? When engaging a contractor for a service of that financial magnitude, you don't just say, "hey can you please harvest our crop then tell us what we owe you". First of all a tender process to find the best price available would be prudent, and secondly the terms of the harvest contract would be specified clearly, eg either an amount per hectare, an amount per tonne of crop, or an hourly rate. These are all clearly quantifiable. I don't see how there could be any dispute, unless its another example of total mismanagement.
