To be fair, the bonuses paid are for both executives and non-executives.

A proportion of the bonuses also relate to non-financial metrics - for example, customer satisfaction, timeliness of implementation etc.

Another relevant point to note is that I am unsure if the executives' remuneration structure has changed. The financial metrics were previously focussed on top line metrics such as revenues etc whereas, in my view, it should have been focused on a per share basis.

This is because focusing on the top line figure creates perverse incentives for acquiring revenue and does not consider the cost of dilution.

I had a previous discussion with the company on this very point. Not sure if my suggestion was given due consideration or not.

Anyway, it has been a tough day for everyone. More tough times ahead I'm afraid.
