HappyCats, Great article and we all know that this is such rubbish. There is absolutely no possibility of chemical waste getting to lake Mainit from the Greenstone operation. It is close but still a few km away and there are many many more dirty local industries and pollutants around the lake. Water discharged from Siana would be very clean and no tails would be getting to Lake Mainit. I also expect that the lumads are simply naming companies that they cannot extort ... or are already being extorted by the NPA.

But, Gina has stated the companies she is after including St Augustine who recently got a mining permit and she is also clever enough to be attacking the firms in the presidents backyard.

If this article is accurate it shows that with her new role the leopard has retained its spots and the industry is heading for real problems. Everyone outside of Mindanao will be happy that she is focused there. No mention of Medusa (Philsaga) which could be good for them.
