*WBext2C is largely credited with upping production by 9% in the latest Q.It is stated that it was only in production for less than 2 of the 3 months.
This well has been declared a template for a number of similar ,complex wells nearby,starting late-November.Right up the Elite rigs alley.
We are clearly beyond the early "fingers crossed" stage with this well-it hasnt watered out and CVN dont expect it to in the near term.
It looks very likely that we can expect a few more similar gains in production from some more volcanic wells near to 2C.
* Just as WBext2C hasnt wartered out and is producing production the partners find acceptable so has the water flood programme got beyond the fingers-crossed stage.
CVN expect to see production to improve from the initial water flood development area and plan for more such attention in nearby Sandstone fault blocks.
We seem to have a good foundation for some worthwhile gains in production ."Reservoir management" is what extracting oil at a profit in Central Thailand is about and we are ,it seems,back in action with 2 viable regimes (V and S) after several years ,even though they are a bit pedestrian by 2006 values.
