I have no idea what sort of security they have in place, but gold theft is a very real issue in gold mines.. A guy I grew up with and kept in contact with for many years got tempered while working at a gold mine in WA years ago. He was a supervisor and got into a gold stealing racket with another guy on site, they would have gotten away with it, if he could have kept it in his pants. His girlfriend found out he was playing around on her so she made a call to the police,, " every time my boyfriend comes home for his week of, he buried something in the back yard " That is the only way he was caught, so a few years he went away for ,, he did get to know Allan Bond while inside though ... lol .. So one can only imagine how big the thief problem would be in a country like Brazil .
